American Theater Group presents

A Little Night Music

March 7-10.  $45 – $55 depending on seating location.

Boasting one of the most singular and sumptuous scores in Broadway history, Sondheim’s enchanting, hilarious romantic farce is a bona fide classic of American musical theater.

Sondheim’s 1973 musical, based on the Ingmar Bergman film Smiles of a Summer Night, follows aging actress Desiree Armfeldt, her mother Madame Armfeldt, and a series of interwoven love affairs during one eventful weekend in the country.

Directed by Tony nominee Hunter Foster (Little Shop of Horrors), with musical direction by Keith Levenson.

Two-time Tony nominee Kate Baldwin (Finian’s Rainbow; Hello, Dolly!) will get the chance to wrap her rich tones around the Stephen Sondheim classic “Send in the Clowns” as Desiree.  Baldwin will share the stage with husband Graham Rowat (Dear Evan Hanson, Sunset Boulevard) as Fredrik, American Idol finalist Alyssa Wray as Petra, Jack Dossett as Henrik, Abby Middleton as Charlotte, RJ Christian as Frid, Tara Rajan as Fredrika, and Lillie Langston as Anne. Additional casting will be announced.

Recipient of six Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, and Best Original Score, A Little Night Music is “heady, civilized, sophisticated and enchanting.” – New York Times
